from 476 reviewsThe Silktone Fuzz + has completely changed how I think about germanium fuzz. The precision bias control with its digital readout ensures my tone is consistent and stable, something most traditional fuzz circuits struggle with. No more worrying about temperature shifts—this pedal delivers reliable performance every time.
I love the flexibility of Classic and Raw modes—one gives me the warm, vintage-style saturation I crave, while the other offers an unfiltered, aggressive response that cuts through a mix beautifully. While the gated fuzz settings can be a bit abrupt, and extreme bias levels require some tweaking, the instant usability and expansive tonal range make this pedal a standout.
It’s not the cheapest fuzz on the market, but the refinement and control it offers make it worth every penny. If you’re after raw fuzz magic with modern reliability, the Silktone Fuzz + is hard to beat.

Very versatile and unique gain pedal. Goes from somewhere between low and medium gain with the gain at minimum, to blown out fuzz with the gain maxed.
The unique flavor of this pedal comes with the Speaker Trouble knob. Turn it up, and it starts to introduce.. something to the gain structure (regardless of the settings of the other knobs). Hard to describe, it's not noise, it's not fizz, it's not gating I think. It's like the note decay is crumbling. The name of the control, Speaker Trouble, is actually the best description I can think of.
Also, with this knob at minimum, it seems to still add just a tiny bit. So even at this setting, the gain structure is still different than your regular plain old gain pedal.
Maxing both the gain and the speaker trouble gives a chaotic sound, like a noisy version of a 8-bit sound, with also a bit of sag.
And in between the min and max of those two controls there are lots of different shades.
I also really like the tone knob (Woofer/Horn), which is also a pretty unique control that I haven't seen before. In essence it's a high pass filter: turn it up to take away the low frequencies, starting at a pretty bassy sound, going towards a thin sound. But unlike a regular HPF control, that changes the cutoff frequency, it seems to blend between the min and the max of the control. It's a subtle difference, but it's there. I think it's more consistent and user friendly than a regular HPF. A very useful way to control the amount of lows in the signal, and I wish every pedal had this exacty control.
Also, IMO, every setting here, even the extremes, can absolutely be useful, depending on the context and genre.
So, the House Amp might not be everybody's cup of tea, but IMO it's useful and versatile and unique and also, last but not least, just fun to play. :)

This is a great sounding pedal, in all positions. I kinda wish that I can the ability to turn on boost, drive and fuzz all on at the same time or work in different stacking combos because each mode sounds great. Only thing is this pedal doesn’t really ever allow you to get weird. It’s perfect sounds all around the dial

Great pedal! Really usable preamp boost and captures the vibe of the original.

It's a naughty pedal and does not behave... perfect! Excellent build quality, smooth, tactile knobs and great aesthetics give way to a rampaging beast waiting to break free. Lowest knob is a bit of combination distortion and volume and easiest way to dial in something is to use it with one of the top two leaving whichever other top knob all the way down. This alone gives you a tone of range and cacophonous fury but when you tire of that spending some time dialing in small amounts of both the top two knobs while more picky is amazing when you find a sweet spot. Want something gruff, noisy and hard to tame in all the right ways get you one of these

I have hardly scratched the surface with this pedal. The Luminous offers extensive phaser and flanger effects with the option to fine tune every mode. The menu on the device is easy to understand and I didn't even have to read the manual to figure it out. Although the quick start guide does include detailed insight to every mode and how it can be adjusted.

The Shoppe has exclusive gear! Packaging was an A+ and shipped swiftly. Couldn't ask for a better place to do business.

Fantastic distortion pedal! I’ve never tried the original of which this is supposed to be a clone of (human gear animato), but this is a fantastic distortion pedal. It focuses mostly on the mid range, and accentuates the attack when used with a pick. Sounds really good on the six string guitar as well, but it’s really good on bass too. Not artificial or synthetic at all. Breaks up mostly the overtones, not the fundamental frequencies at least not for the low notes, but it does work very well for these too if you blend clean and dirty appropriately. Combine it with a big muff and you have the muse tone!

The cocoon is a badass buzzy fuzz. There’s a lotta meat in there. The notes sustain & ring out, the chords crunch up beautifully. I kinda love that its only controls are output & gain. It’s precisely what I need in a fuzz. Real simple and just sounds great. Gnarly, snarly, and articulate.

Pedal is insane. Glitchy and circuit bent sounds. Distorted delay popping. There is a volume boost I found hard to tame but that's part of the fun of this pedal is finding sweet spots and enjoying the chaotic ride. For fans of unique obscure experimental sounds!

Got this to pair with a LA-1A Leveling Amplifier.
First signal chain test: Tube Drive > PC-2A > Phaseomatic Deluxe > LA-1A Leveling Amplifier.
Insane for the Dry portion of my Wet/Dry/Wet rig. I felt like a sculptor; the tone was like clay in my hands. With all pedal settings fairly low, huge dynamic range and massive sustain that doesn’t drop off near the end. Fades steadily into silence.
Very responsive to guitar Volume/Tone knobs.

This pedal truly stands out among the pack. The octave control has so much harmonic information that the texture really builds on itself in a really rich manner. Rules as a fuzz, plays just as great as a boost and drive.

Lots and lots of depth of sound and options to tweak delays. Great sounding pedal that plays well with other dirt pedals. Patience is needed to really understand the device and all the sub-features but it’s worth it.
