A mono long tailed reverb pedal with Random Wave Pitch Modulation, Random Wave Tremolo ( creating stuttering old tape effects) plus a low Pass Filter controlled by an LFO, potentiometer or external exp control.
Conceptually, Seafarer plays with sounds and feeling of falling overboard at night in the middle of a dark sea.Ā
It won't replace your clean digital reverbs but can still clean up beautifully. It will also push itself into complete breakup and flip its life raft to pieces if you choose.
DRIVE
Drive with diode clipping before reverb and modulation creating rich, textured warmth.
VERB LENGTH
This control can reach infinity and beyond and will feedback and self oscillate if set too high.
INFINITY
Opens a feedback loop between the output and the input - adjustable onset speed via an internal trimpot
LFO ON/OFF
Toggles the LFO on or off to control the LPF, or not.
TREMOLO
Random Tremolo controlled by the "Random Speed" knob.
PITCH MOD
A parallel pitch modulation signal controlled by the :Random Speed" knob - Tremolo + Pitch are synced

I know. Powerful claim.
But I buy, sell, and trade a whole lot of pedals in my near mad quest to perfectly outfit my sound lab for what I do, and...
...this reverb will never get sold or traded away.
Simply, it's different. And better. And more nuanced. And significantly more textured, ethereal, atmospheric, and just plain useful. Anymore, reverbs and delays I end up adoring and keeping invariably have some element of randomness to them, and Seafarer is no exception...
...a perfect blend of aesthetics (yep, they matter to me), build quality, clever labeling, elaborate control scheme (but no menu diving), remarkably rich gain circuit, incredible LFO and modulation, and... probably THE best ramping swell function I've yet heard in a pedal.
Honestly, the kind of pedal where I feel like I got the far better end of the deal for the price.
If you're a reverb freak, well... you're remiss without this one, mate.
Really loving the Seafarer. The reverb sounds great, and the grit is a really nice addition. it gives it a lot of character without feeling like itās just thrown in there.
The modulation is probably my favorite part. It can be really subtle and atmospheric, but you can also crank it and get completely insane sounds.
The graphics and layout are just beautiful. It looks great on the board and the controls are easy to get around. I have mine running vertical on my board.
This reverb is excellent for lofi textures. Between the drive, random tremolo, LFO, low pass filter, and chorus, you can build amazing ambient soundscapes. Definitely a keeper for me!
Empty Head has done it again - the Seafarer is never leaving my board. This can go from a clean, spacey, slightly modulated reverb to an earth shattering wall of noise. This pedal will eliminate your need for a post-verb driveā¦if thatās your thing. It does the lo-fi thing exceptionally well. Iāve bumped several pedals off now that the Seafarer covers those sounds. Yup, itās large, but itāll take the job of at least 3-4 pedals in your rig. Just get one!
