This is my 7th ezhi&aka pedal, and it might be the ezhiest of them all.
I ran it straight into my Harmony amp at first. At the most basic level, it's a delay with modulation, lfo filters, and 'drone' (reverb/noise). But there are 18 knobs, 6 buttons, 4 switches, and 4 FSR pads. So this thing is anything but basic. It practically begs to be part of a loop, where you can play the pedal. And like all Alexey's pedals, it's a work of art.
After about 20 minutes running it mono I put it on the wet/dry/wet board. I had it on the wet side, with only a touch of chorus on the Solarfaze at the end of the chain to give it stereo separation. The Moomindrone has 3 volume knobs, drone volume, dry volume, and delay volume. So by zeroing the dry volume you can achieve kill-dry.
As part of the wet signal chain, this thing took off. With the center amp keeping things grounded, I could really push the limits of the Moomindrone into chaos through the wet amps. My wife had a ball messing with the settings and the FSR pads while I played a simple Spacemen 3 style riff. It goes from sparkly to complete aural destruction. Combining glitch, LFOs, drone, and some pretty massive delay gives a ton of wall of sound possibilities in one pedal. I have one 'swappable slot' on my wet/dry/wet board, and this is going to occupy that slot for the foreseeable future.
