Fuzz and Distortion

At T-Rex, we’ve always loved fuzz, but we wanted to take it somewhere new.
FuzzTopia is a hybrid between retro fuzz and warm distortion.

A meeting point between nostalgia and new sonic ground.

We wanted to create a pedal that doesn’t just recreate the past, but opens up new sounds.
FuzzTopia can go from the nastiest thunderstorm to the sweetest, smoothest distortion without losing its character.

The key is the unique Blend control, which is a new feature on a fuzz pedal.
It lets you mix clean and distorted signal for dynamic tonal shaping — from subtle crunch to full-blown chaos.
Fuzztopia performs like the original germanium Fuzz pedals, while the distortion side brings warmth and clarity.

The Fuzz control determines the amount of Fuzz/Distortion, offering a gentle bite to a full, harmonious range of high-pitched overtones. Use it to experiment with the timbre of your fuzzed sound, so it matches your setup, the music you play, and your personal taste.

Blend control allows you to adjust the balance between the clean and fuzzed signals. Roll the Mix knob back slightly, and your clean signal begins to emerge. If you pick lightly or roll back the volume on your guitar, you can achieve a stunning clean/softly clipping sound that retains all the feel and dynamics of your original tone, only bigger, louder, and
richer. When rolled all the way up and with the Fuzz maxed, the pedal develops a Hendrix like character.

The Volume control adjusts your overall output level. 

The Distortion control sets the level of overdrive and distortion, offering a subtle grit and classic distortion sounds with a strong low-end that remains clear.

The Tone control adjusts the treble content of the overdrive. With low “mix” settings, this control has less impact on the overall sound.

Blend control allows you to adjust the balance between clean and distorted signals—the same feature as in the upper section.

The Volume control sets your overall output volume. 

Individual/Both - Located at the rear of the unit, there is a small configuration push switch. When it is in its outer position, both effects will activate simultaneously, regardless of which foot switch you select. When it is pressed in, the effects operate independently
