This is a lovely, touch-sensitive OD that really lets the unique character of your guitar and amp shine through. Suitable for any type of music that requires a tiny bit of grit to fall on drive, this is one of my go to dirt boxes.
The best overdrive I've ever heard. My solid state amp was lacking for the natural breakup found in a tube amp, and so this became my solution. Bright and brittle.
Its a relief to be able to get a simple drive pedal that doesn't have surface mounted hardware in case I choose to mod or need to fix it. The circuit is relatively simple and that's what creates the beauty of the raw distortion.
Too many pedals are afraid of a raw, gritty uncompromising distortion. Well not this one. It can be a warm blanket that swallows your signal or a ripping, screaming fuzz that pushes your harmonics almost to the point an octave fuzz. Midfi is as boutique as it gets.
