Absolute Radiance

Absolute Radiance is an illuminated reverberator in the Kinds Of Light series by Discomfort Designs. Using an FDN style architecture, it can recreate room reflections simulating tiny or massive spaces. The decay time can be as short as 500 milliseconds or as long as 20 seconds.

The filter section is tuned to range from muted and slightly resonant to crisp and thin, so the trails can sit exactly where they are needed in a mix.

The Glow parameter adds a pitch shifted octave up to the wet signal, as well as a switchable octave down/harmonized fifth.

Now for the fun part: all six sliders can be controlled by CV, and Absolute Radiance also can send envelope controlled CV out. Use the CV out to spike parameters on the pedal itself, other KOL series pedals, or modular/semi-modular outboard gear.
